Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry at The Gathering is not an afterthought. It is our intentional strategy to help people grow deep and wide at every stage of life. We view our role in Children’s Ministry as “coming alongside” to assist parents in nurturing and training their children in the Christian Faith. We choose the best resources along with a committed and caring team of individuals to love and serve our children. Our Children’s Ministry begins with the loving care of infants through 5th grade.
Our children meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the “Media Room”, located near the entrance of the adult gathering. Our current curriculum is from Group Publishing – Dig In – “The Bible in One Year.” This curriculum is filled with story time, games, crafts, music and Bible study. During our time together, we are able to have Q&A, which helps our young learners grow deep in their knowledge of Jesus and reflect upon what they have learned that day.
